Rhythm Guitar and Band Manager Barclay grew up in the badlands of the Tees Delta and as a mod in the mid sixties, the first gig he saw was Stevie Wonder at Newcastle City Hall, when he was actually ‘Little’ Stevie Wonder.
The only member old enough to remember what he was doing when Otis Redding died, Barc formed South Coast Soul Revue in the spring of 2008 with Alex and realised a long held dream to play rhythm guitar in a full-on soul band and he has been living the dream ever since. Barc was also the founding member of Brighton based covers band ‘The Cadillacs’ but decided to follow the call of Soul and South Coast Soul Revue was born.
